Llano hosts an incredible variety of festivals throughout the year — from gravel bike races to rock-stacking championships to Victorian Christmases. Most events are within a 20-min drive.

Castell Grind

April (Saturday) | Castell, TX (~20 min west)

Iconic annual gravel cycling event since 2014. Riders from across the country tackle Hill Country gravel roads starting at the historic Castell General Store. Post-race celebration.

Llano Trout Release Party

February | Grenwelge Park

TPWD stocks the Llano River with rainbow trout. Free hot dogs & chips. Great for kids!

Llano Earth Art Festival (LEAF)

Late March | Grenwelge Park

International artists, natural sculptures, World Rock Stacking & Skipping Championships. Live music, food.

Early April | Lantex Theater

Open fiddle contest since 1976. Youth/Senior/Open divisions. Cowboy breakfast.
